Join us as we decorate the church with Christmas decorations!
Since Daylight Savings ended a few weeks ago, the days feel shorter and the nights feel longer. And it's never fun to return home from school, work, or other engagements knowing that the sun will set soon after 4:30 PM. These darker days can be really difficult for a lot of us! However, one hopeful aspect during this dark season is seeing Advent decorations like wreaths, ornaments, and lights. These decorations can lift our spirits to remember the incredible moment when the Son of God became human! Jesus came into our world so that he can be "the light of the world and whoever follows him will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life" (John 8:12). What joyful news to remind each other and share with our neighbors in the North Shore!
Let us share this joy through Advent decorations at church! Lots of hands are needed to help decorate the church for the Advent season. We will be putting up lights, hanging ornaments, and decorating a tree at the church. We cannot wait to deck the halls with bells of jolly with you! There's no need to register, just bring yourself and some Christmas cheer!
PS: Cookies and hot beverages will be provided!
