If you’ve been around Beverly for a bit, you may know that the Saturday before Thanksgiving is the Day of the Holiday Fairs!
Our Holiday Fair is festive and fun, its joyful and jolly, and if you’re not feeling the holiday spirit by November 20th, coming to and serving at the holiday fair fills you up and kicks off the holiday season.
We have been hosting our holiday fair for over 75 years or more and it seemed to have started as a yard sale to raise money for missions. Over the years, it has evolved to sometimes include breakfast sandwiches and lunch, a silent auction with local business donations. The fair also has had craft vendors, more food like popcorn, fudge, large pickles, little brownie Christmas trees and reindeer pretzels, carolers, a prayer room, a silly photo booth, a gift wrapping station, kids shopping room, and more.
Here are some of the things to look forward to this year:
Arts & Crafts Vendors
Homemade Baked Goods
Breakfast & Lunch
Pies & Popcorn
Used Books
White Elephant Sale
Photobooth (supporting Open Door Immigration Services)
Silent Auction
We invited our youth group to choose a ministry partner to support with whatever money is raised, and they selected Amirah Inc, an organization that helps survivors of sexual abuse and trafficking.
There are so many ways you can help make this year's Holiday Fair happen. Check out the registration page for ways to serve and sign up now!
