Holy Saturday is an opportunity for us to join in a long tradition of coming together to help one another bear the burdens life has given us. There are not many opportunities in the liturgical calendar to spend time sharing and sitting with the things in the world that try to rob us of hope but on the day before Easter we can gather to share with each other the things that darken our life knowing that tomorrow we celebrate the empty tomb.
