Set at Liberty: Stories of the Enslaved People in a New England Town

  • Anchor Bay Church 10 Dane Street Beverly, MA, 01915 United States (map)

Throughout the biblical narrative, God consistently calls God's people to the holy work of remembering their history - not for the sake of recall alone, but to learn from these stories and allow them to shape their journey forward. Let's learn together about the historic fight for racial justice here on the North Shore, and reflect on how God is inviting us to be part of this ongoing work.

We will tour the "Set at Liberty" exhibit at the Cabot House, then return to Anchor Bay for a light brunch and discussion!

Meet at the ABC parking lot at 9:10 am to walk over to the Cabot House together, or meet us there at 9:25 am. After our tour, we'll head back to ABC for a light brunch and discussion and plan to wrap up no later than 11:15 am.

How much: $10 to cover admission and a light brunch at ABC; please email Kelliann at chair@anchorbaychurch.org if cost is a hardship and we would be happy to provide a scholarship!
