Sunday Dream Teams
The community of Anchor Bay Church exists because we serve one another.
From providing a hot cup of coffee to early gatherers to ministering to our community’s kids, volunteers make a huge impact by serving one another. Check out the many ways to get involved at Anchor Bay Church on Sunday mornings.
If you are someone who hasn't yet jumped onto a ministry team (just one or two please!), we would love for you to prayerfully consider how you can jump in. We are one body with many members (1 Cor. 12:12).
Hospitality Team

We are the first faces people see when they walk through our doors on Sunday mornings and the last when they walk out the door. We are the hosts of the day who help people feel comfortable and welcomed in our church. We greet, help with name tags, mingle, and talk to newcomers and old-comers alike. Essentially, we’re ABC’s "people people".
Soulfood Team

Soulfood prepares and serves food on Sunday mornings and at other events throughout the year! Everyone is a part of Soulfood when they eat, but only a chosen few get to participate in the prep! We’re looking to fill both cooking and clean-up crews who serve together on a monthly rotation. Be a part of making Soulfood a place for food, fun, and fellowship. This is an easy way to get involved!
Worship Band

The Worship Band helps the church bring expressions of love, gratitude, grief, and celebration before God in song. We play songs from church history, contemporary songwriters, and songs that were written or arranged by our own music team members to more fully reflect our historical, global, and local participation in God’s kingdom. Being part of the ABC Worship Band is not just serving a function in the church: we take delight in working together, creating together, and sharing our gifts for the glory of God and the good of our people.
Sunday Production

Believe it or not, our Sunday morning services don’t come together out of nothing! In fact, we have several teams of Sunday Morning volunteers that help make things happen week in and week out.
Do you love working with technology?
Do you have any experience running sound or AV (like the slides for the songs or cameras for the live stream)?
Do you enjoy working as a production manager?
Do you have ZERO experience but might be interested in learning about what happens behind the scenes at our services and events? Well then have we got the team for you! No experience or training is required, and we would be so happy to teach you these things!
Sunday Prayer Team

We lead prayers up-front on Sunday mornings to praise God, confess sins, express gratitude, and intercede for the needs of the community and our world.
Scripture Reading

We lead our congregation through the public reading of God's word on Sundays before the sermon.
Kids Crew

We are committed to offering a safe and loving environment for our children to grow in their understanding of God. We desire to offer programs that help children become disciples who love Jesus, serve their community, and celebrate life. We also hope to equip, empower, and engage parents and guardians in discipleship of their kids! Our Sunday Kids Crew teachers and helpers are committed to helping disciple our kids and families with Christian education during the service.

Youth Ministry

At Anchor Bay, we believe the process of discipleship begins long before an individual is cognizant of their journey with the Lord.
Therefore, our youth ministry exists to help students grow to know and experience Jesus Christ in such a way that equips and propels them to share their faith by loving and serving those around them. We exist to be a place for students to ask hard questions, explore what it means to live a life committed to God’s will and word, and celebrate God's work in and through their lives on a daily basis.
Our Youth Ministry meets most Sunday nights from 4-5:30pm. Adult leaders help lead talks, discussions, games, and generally assist in discipleship of our teens and pre-teens.
